We're excited to announce a series of powerful new updates to SKIPM8 that were rolled out in July 2024. These enhancements are designed to improve user experience, streamline operations, and provide greater control and visibility over your skip hire and waste management activities. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new:
Enhanced Skip Visibility with Quick Actions
You can now view all skips associated with customers, including those that are overdue. This update offers quick actions that allow you to add a collection or exchange effortlessly. With this feature, keeping track of skips and managing collections is more efficient, ensuring that overdue skips are promptly addressed and customers remain satisfied.
Updated Calendar Assignments
Our calendar assignments have received a significant update. Now, the calendar clearly displays which drivers have been assigned to each task. This improvement makes it easier to manage and coordinate driver schedules, reducing confusion and enhancing operational efficiency.
Editable "What Cannot Go into a Skip" Notes for Digital Waste Transfer Notes
You now have the ability to change the "What cannot go into a skip" section on digital waste transfer notes. This added flexibility allows you to tailor these notes to specific requirements or regulations, ensuring compliance and clear communication with customers about prohibited items.
Optimised Drivers Calendar Sorting
The drivers calendar now sorts assignments in order of priority before time. This means that assignments are arranged in the most efficient sequence for drivers to complete their tasks, optimising their routes and saving valuable time. This enhancement ensures that drivers can work more effectively, reducing operational bottlenecks.
Colour-Coded Sub Contract Assignments
Sub contract assignments are now colour-coded on both the calendar and scheduler. This visual improvement makes it easier to distinguish between different types of assignments at a glance, improving overall workflow and reducing the likelihood of scheduling errors.
New Driver Assignment Job Sheet in PDF
We've introduced a new driver assignment job sheet that can be downloaded in PDF format directly from the scheduler. This job sheet provides a detailed overview of assignments, making it simple for drivers to access their tasks and for managers to distribute clear, concise job instructions.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to enhance SKIPM8, making it a more powerful and user-friendly tool for skip hire and waste management businesses. We believe these improvements will greatly benefit your operations, providing better control, efficiency, and service quality. As always, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing to support your business needs with innovative solutions.
Stay tuned for more updates and happy skipping!
