SkipM8

Book clearance jobs properly, with the paperwork done

A clearance is one visit: your team loads the waste and takes it away. Forcing it into a skip booking leaves you tracking a skip that doesn't exist. SkipM8 books it as its own job and handles the paperwork that goes with it.

Run skips or grabs too? Your clearance jobs sit on the same dispatch board and driver app.

Price, schedule and document every clearance

  • Price a clearance at a flat rate, by waste type, or per tonne.
  • Charge for mattresses, fridges, tyres and other extras at their own price.
  • Offer the customer a time slot, such as morning or afternoon, if that's how you work.
  • Keep the signed waste transfer note on the booking, emailed to the customer for you.
  • Have loads brought back to your own site recorded for DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking Service.

How a clearance job runs

  1. Book the clearance with its waste type, any separately charged items and a time slot if you use them.
  2. Assign it to a driver on the dispatch board.
  3. On site, the driver works through the job in the driver app, reports any extra items and takes the customer's signature.
  4. Completing the job stores the signed waste transfer note on the booking and can email it to the customer.
  5. Back at your depot, the load is weighed, broken down and recorded for DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking Service.

Rubbish clearance questions

Do we need a skip on the booking for a clearance?

No. A clearance job is booked on its own, with no skip or bin attached.

Can the driver tell us about items we didn't quote for?

Yes. On clearances and collections, the driver app can ask the driver to report extra items such as a mattress. The office then decides whether to add it to the booking.

Do separately charged items carry their own waste codes?

Yes. Each item in your list, like a fridge or a mattress, carries its own EWC codes and hazardous or POPs flags.
