From the phone call to the invoice
- Book the grab job with an exact arrival time, such as 10:30, if the job type asks for one.
- Assign it to a driver and lorry on the dispatch board.
- The driver works through the job in the SkipM8 driver app and captures the customer's signature.
- The signed waste transfer note is stored on the booking and emailed to the customer.
- The load is weighed and broken down at your depot, and any per-tonne charge is added to the invoice.

Can we charge different rates per tonne for different waste?
Yes. A per-tonne rate can be set for each waste type, so soil and general waste can be priced differently.
Can we give the customer an exact time?
Yes. Set the grab job type to ask for an exact time or one of your own time slots, and it shows on the dispatch board and to the driver.
Where does the weight come from?
The load is weighed when it is processed at your depot. That weight settles the per-tonne charge, less anything already charged up front.
Is a grab load recorded for DEFRA?
Yes. When the load comes back to your own site, the completed grab job creates a waste receipt for DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking Service.
